A place for a name, a lead, a hand to reach for.

A slightly inadequate description of something worn almost every day of a life.

It sits against the neck.
It warms with the body.
It moves thousands of times, gradually taking on the shape of the one wearing it.
Given enough time, it stops behaving like an object at all.

It is more, a second skin.

There is a reason a properly tailored suit or dress feels different. It has been considered around a particular body. A few millimetres here, a different curve there. Small decisions with surprisingly large consequences.

Only the same, seems reasonable for them.

A collar made with that kind of attention. A leash made to follow it. Things intended to be lived in, rather than simply put on.
